MBA CET Verification Process

MBA CET Verification Process often leaves one confused and frustrated.

The ARC verification process is the document verification carried out at the ARC centers by DTE.

The document verification process for the year 2014-15 will be conducted between 12th May 2014 to 22nd May 2014.

Documents required at the time of verification and confirmation of “Application form
for Admission (CAP)” at ARC:

Candidates are required to carry ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS for verification and submit attested photocopies of the following certificates at the time of confirmation of CAP Application form at the ARC.
  1. Score  card  of  All  India  CET  to  verify  the  identity  of  the candidate
  2. Certificate of Indian Nationality in the name of the Candidate 
  3. Statement of marks of HSC and SSC 
  4. Statement of marks  for the Bachelor’s Degree Examination (i.e. the qualifying Degree examination) in  case  the  candidate  has  passed  the  bachelor’s  degree  examination  (Candidates  who  have appeared for final year degree examination have time limit up to 25th September, 2014 to produce the same).    
  5. Domicile  certificate  of  candidate  ­-  In  case  of  Type‐A  candidate  in  lieu  of  Domicile  certificate candidates should produce Birth Certificate of candidate indicating place of birth in Maharashtra State OR School Leaving Certificate indicating place of birth of candidate  in Maharashtra  State  Domicile  certificate  of  candidate’s  father/mother  (if  applicable),  clearly  indicating  the  place  of permanent residence of the candidate/father or mother 
  6. Receipt of payment of processing fees. 
  7. Score Card for CMAT, CAT(conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/ MAT (conducted by AIMA in February 2014)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS) 
 In lieu of  the “Certificate of  Indian Nationality”  following certificates/documents will also be acceptable‐ 
  • The School leaving Certificate indicating the Nationality of the candidate as ‘Indian’. 
  • Indian Passport in the name of the candidate, issued by appropriate authorities. 
  • Birth Certificate of the Candidate indicating the place of birth in India.
  • If  the  Candidate  fails  to  produce  any  one  of  the  above  mentioned  certificate/documents  indicating nationality    then  such  candidates  Nationality  shall  be  considered  based  on  the  undertaking  given  in Proforma‐I on Rs. 100 Non‐Judicial Stamp Paper.
Other documents 
  1. Caste certificate (if applicable) 
  2. Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate 
  3. Non Creamy Layer certificate valid up to 31st March 2015 (if applicable) 
  4. Certificates in Proforma A, B, C, D, E, F 
  5. Any other relevant document   
NOTE: The copies of certificates or documents attached to the application  form should be attested by 
the  Principal  of  the  college  from  which  the  candidate  has  passed  qualifying  examination  or 
Gazetted  Officer  or  Special  Executive  Magistrate  or  Head  Master  of  a  Secondary  School  or 
teaching  staff  of  Government  college/Polytechnic  not  below  the  rank  of  a  lecturer.  Original 
certificates should not be attached with the application form

The Certificate issuing Authorities for various Backward Classes are as follows: 
For S.C. - 
1.   Caste Certificate stating that the caste is recognised under backward class category in Maharashtra State from Executive Magistrate in Maharashtra State  

2.  Caste Validity Certificate from  Divisional Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee of the respective Divisional Social Welfare Office. 

For S.T. 
1.    Caste Certificate stating that the caste is recognised under backward class category in Maharashtra State. from  Executive Magistrate in Maharashtra State  

2.  Tribe Validity Certificate from Director/Deputy Director, Tribe Scrutiny Committee of respective Region 

For VJ­DT(A)/ NT(B)/ NT(C)/ NT(D)/ OBC/SBC 

1.   Caste Certificate stating that the caste is recognised under backward class category in Maharashtra State. from Executive Magistrate in Maharashtra State  

2.  Caste Validity Certificate from Divisional Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee of the respective Divisional Social Welfare Office. 

3.  Non‐creamy layer Certificate valid up to 31st March 2015 from Sub Divisional Officer/Deputy 
Collector/Collector of the district




On 26th May 2014, the Provisional merit lists (Maharashtra State, All India and J&K Candidates) will be displayed on the web site www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba2014
